Since TPWD and municipal animal control don't seem to be much help, it sounds like a job for Boris Badenov (and Natasha), the "Now ve make beeg trouble for moose and squirrel" folks.

Houston’s 13 murder this year happened today at Bellaire High School.
Bellaire isn't Houston.
But apparently it's got some mean streets.

We now have learned Bellaire has some stupid streets as the student was killed with supposedly an unloaded gun. However, we have also learned the shooter, immediately left the scene, disposed of the gun and was hiding behind a dumpster when arrested by police, and is not answering questions which sounds pretty guilty of murder rather than manslaughter.

Jimney Crickets! They may just hit one a day. I looked at that list Charles post the other day and Dallas was right up there with Houston. It makes me wonder if Dallas would be that high.

Man walking in the middle of the road at 1:30 am is struck by a car, struck by another car, struck by a third car and drug. Only the third car stopped. Pedestrian died, but I haven’t been counting hit and runs. Hit and runs occur every day. Almost more likely the driver will not stop.

Morning shooting by a wife of her estranged husband who came to her, or their house, argument insued, she grabbed a gun, it went off by accident. Wife has not been charged, so a little early to call this a murder. We have had 20 manslaughters and murders this year. It’s the 19th.

He is tallying the Metro Houston area, a Population according to Google as 6,997,384. A murder a day is 365 murders. A murder rate of 5.216 per 100,000 doesn't sound particularly high. Probably a bit higher for Houston proper, but lower than places like Galveston Beaumont/Port Arthur.

Charged with murder. So that would be no. 19 on the 19th. Suggestion to those separated and deciding to return to pick up some things. Do not arrive in your new girlfriends car.

This may be No. 20. Robbing a convenience store using a Uhaul Truck as the getaway car. Police chasing the trio. One man jumps out and is caught another man falls out when it sounds like the woman driver goes cross country in the truck. The man who falls out, is run over by the truck. After smashing into a police car the chase ends with the driver arrested and now may be facing a murder charge.
