Talked to rds today and they said I was approved yesterday and to allow 8-10 business days to receive plastic. Finally!

They do keep track of how many times you call. I called once and he was like well I see you called on these 2 days already. Yep. I had one lady get really snotty with me. She let me know it was my 3rd time calling in. I told her if they'd just get my license to me I'd quit calling them! Well today 3/12/2016 marks 79 days in total! And 52 business days so far! I've been calling about every 2 weeks r so! But still sitting here waiting like some said i started to forget I even applied for the license lol! Clean background and applied under the veteran option so what's taking so long!!!!!?????? Last time I spoke with a lady she said I was almost to the 60 day mark to just hang in there so hopefully something will change by 3/23/2016 r at least the end of march!

Received confirmation email from RSD on 1/25/2016 stating "all supporting documents have been received. Please allow up to six weeks for processing."
Haven't heard squat since then. Today marks 7 weeks and based on what I've read my guess is that I've got another 4-5 weeks to go. If it's going to take 12-15 weeks then say so. Don't blatantly lie with this stock six weeks bull that everyone knows can't be done. Anyone find it odd that the most left-wing, liberal county in Texas is the one responsible for issuing CHL's? Coincidence?
