Day 60.... Entering into overdue territory......

I got a email on March 12th saying now it can take up to eight (8) business weeks to complete. So I called them and she said they are still working on Decembers . She said it could take up to 8 business weeks on top of my 7 weeks that I have in they are that far behind . I submitted all paper work in on the 13th of January . So nice to hear how fast they are.

They obviously are not doing the apps in order received. As dirtdixon 's app date was 1/5 and he got his 3/10 and yet others in December have not.

December 28th online, mailed all docs certified mail and they arrived jan 2nd.

No not in order! My app date was1/6 and 1/11 conf email. NOTHING! 65 calendar/43 biz days

Seriously? 25year old misdemeanor? Was it a disqualifying one at that?

I was honest on my application and listed the misdemeanor and a felony that was dismissed. I am sure it is the dismissed felony that is giving me fits. I have held a Top Secret clearance in the Army since then and had no problem with that background check.

Got through this morning and spoke with a very nice lady who told me she couldn't understand why I hadn't heard anything. She took my phone # and said she would have the eligibility department give me me a call back.

Did they call you? Never mind I didn't realize you just posted this. Let us know if you hear back please.

I never did get a call back, but as of this morning, the website has changed!!!

I've been lurking but wanted to put my info to help the people who are currently waiting.

Application Started 12-1-16 (paid for lic)
Finger Print: 12-4-16
CHL class: 1-9-16
Emailed App: 1-11-16
RDS Recd Docs: 1-11-16
Website Change: 3-14-16 (could have been the afternoon of 3-11-16 but i only checked in the morning.
LTC in Hand: 3-14-16

Basically, 3-14-16 was the 61st business day of my ordeal.

Sadly my buddy who took the class and did the exact same day of documents as me doesn't have his yet (nor has the website changed)

From what I know, they don't begin counting until your confirmation email (in your case 1/11/16), so you did not wait 61 business days. You only waited 43 business days.

Congrats on the plastic, all the same!

I need help! I got the confirmation over the phone that all of my stuff had been received in 1-6-16. I've since then have heard nothing back at all not email not nothing. I read on here and guys have definetly been waiting longer than I have. Any help would be appreciated on a number to call or anything. Thanks in advance.
