Wonder how hard they were looking. $500,000 bond at least.

Police Chief and Mayor hold a press conference to start an initiative to reduce violence in Houston and hold up a proclamation.
They also wanted 8.5 million in donations to equip the police.
On a positive note. There was no mention in the story about guns.

So what was a 12 year old doing out on a school night at midnight. 17 yo driver will be charged as an adult.

Well, I suspect that they didn't hot-wire that car. The moron "good Samaritan" probably left the keys in it. Might he have been making a beer run for the kids?
