Mine was dismissed.
Sent in court copies.
I wonder why I had to go to legal review. I hope they are not trying to find a reason not to grant it.

It's my understanding that their records only show offenses up to the arrest and booking phase. Their records do not include the disposition or results phase. That's why they require certified dispositions from the courts.

Joe817, thanks to you and everyone on this forum who are helping us along!
It didn't hurt to already have my FBI file (as DynaBlue keeps reminding me!), but it certainly must have helped to apply and pay online, do a little legwork (checking the criminal reports), find an instructor and fingerprinter (sp?) who both made sure everything was right, and watch the details.
Outside of maybe having come across a very good tech at DPS, I can't think of anything else that would have made a lot of difference.

I definitely think by day 60 as the law states you should have a yes, a no, or we need more time. But in your case you were waiting for legal review and acknowledged that you would be in the 100+ club. If it makes you feel any better I'm only a couple weeks behind you and still waiting.

Thanks for the kinds words. I never got any notice of delay. The state rep told me she would have an answer for my by Thursday. I don't see what more time they would need, only two items came back through the background check and both were supported by court certified documentation.
Also, I have left several messages with "legal review," they never bothered to call back.
