"At this point, in time"

"At this point" is all that's necessary to get your point across...

"Give It Up" - revolting pseudo-cool guy speak meaning "applause".

"The Wife" - sounds eerily impersonal...

"She Who Must Be Obeyed" is a great line referring to Hilda, Horace Rumpole's wife.

For my taste, Leo McKern played the best Rumpole. He was magnificent!

I've read everyone of John Mortimer's books.

Thanks for the reminder as enough time has passed for me to re-read him.

"At this time" is a better choice unless you do mean spatial coordinates.

"We're Pregnant"

I cringe with embarrassment (for the speaker) when I hear someone say this, whether it's the man or woman...

Nope, we're not pregnant, the woman is pregnant.

To say "We're Pregnant" is so illogically P.C. it drives me up the wall!

I've even heard a few males (with a straight face) discuss the merits of diaper bags.

What next, guys discussing their favorite 'male make-up' or 'make-overs' or 'eye shadow'...? Perhaps, these are the new "Meteros"?

I guess I'm too 'old school' to understand this kind of feminization of men.

Bah Humbug!

In case it wasn't posted....

ASSAULT RIFLE
EVIL GUNS

......after being towed for a parking violation. ..
I was only there for five minutes. We hear this a lot and many times it has been hours after it was towed before they call us. One time in particular I towed a car for being parked in the firelane. This is the excuse given when the owner called us over 5 hours later
