I'm picturing a guy with a PDA, cell phone, folding pocket tool, knife, flashlight, and other accoutrements on his belt, and a (substitute your favorite carry gun) at kidney.
BTW, I tried to reload with a pager at an IDPA match some time back, and I know others who also did so.
I became an engineer by the "non-traditional" route, twenty years as craft at the phone company - promoted to "Transmission Engineer" for my expertise in grounding, data, and shooting noise troubles.

Thanks, I actually have probably downgraded to something less than geek due to my employment at Home Depot.
