Lord, please help this family find comfort. In their darkest hour, please open their eyes to see You right there alongside them with a shoulder to lean on and, yes, to cry on as well. I pray for Your peace that passes all understanding to descend on this family. We know that when all others seem to have moved on and the world has forgotten their pain, our Lord Jesus Christ still remembers and comforts. In the precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
This story is a reminder to never give up. The life you save may not be yours, but Jesus taught us that there is "no greater love".
