I believe the technical term for that is robbery, and it is a crime against the laws of God and man.

I condemn this type of thinking. I did not see an smiley face or any other attempt at humor there.

This really does underscore the need to have firearms and be always ready to use them to defend yourself and your livelihood.

I attended a survival class once and the instructor said that when it's TEOTWAWKI, he doesn't care about morals or ethics. He said if he sees a cow behind a fence, he'll steal that cow without concerning himself about whether it's illegal.

I raised my hand and asked if he thought it was okay in that situation to steal my cows and deprive my children of their milk and meat. He said that he'd do it in a heartbeat. This is the kind of stuff that makes me keep my skills at the ready, always.

And I would, in turn, stop him from stealing my cows. If that's a risk that joker is willing to take, more power to him. If he was a true TEOTWAWKI prepper, he wouldn't have to do this. He would be prepared for these situations.

There is a great book, a fictional account of the siege of Stalingrad in WW II. "City of Thieves" by David Benioff deals with survival in Stalingrad when these folk's world ended as they knew it. A great read!
