If you're on the west side of Houston, Defensive & Concealed Guns Inc. on Memorial near Dairy Ashford is worth a visit. The shop is a little small with limited inventory but the guys there are super friendly and helpful. They're happy to talkl with you on any level and won't look down on you if you're a newbie. I just did a transfer with them and it was great. Cost for me was $25 but they'll transfer for $20 if you're a full fledged Texas CHL Forum member.

Ditto... I'll 2nd this. I live, literally, about 1500 yards from them. Good guys. Smaller inventory, but very helpful and decent ammo prices. Also, the inventory they do carry is good stuff, and the prices are the best you can find for a gun shop.

I hadn't heard of that shop. I might have to stop by next time I am over that way.

Yes, we are a smaller shop that's been open for just a little over a year, but our inventory is growing each month.
We pride ourselves on exemplary service combined with the lowest prices in Houston.

If you come in, ask for USA1 ;-)
