Professional Training, Competition, Risk Avoidance, Situational Awareness, Tactical Mindset, 100,000+ rounds down range - the hardware is the least important part of the equation...

Federal 9BP is reliable through my mags and out of the ejection ports of my pistols. Supposedly, it is equally reliable in soft targets. Not so great through windscreens or car doors.
Same configuration, but a bit faster, is 9BPLE. Advertised speed is 1300 fps. It functions also. It is advertised as +P+. Never clocked either. Carry one, practice with the other.
Both are 115 JHP.
Stephen Camp's website, 'High Powers and Handguns' makes mention of the Federal loading. Stephen died a couple months ago.
