Some folks just crack me up with that Bilderberg business...yep, and there are aliens at Roswell, and the Illuminati has guys in cowls chanting arcane slogans, and Rosie O'Donnell showcased her vast metallurgical knowledge when she said "In the history of the world, fire never melted steel" in regards to the Twin Towers tragedy, AND the moon is made of green cheese. All that said, do I believe that politicians make secret business deals? Of course, they do. And do they sometimes do underhanded stuff? Of course, they do...and yet, unless one of us has the money and the savvy to get elected, you have to pick from who is running, or don't vote at all. And if you don't vote for someone who at least has SOME of what you like on their agenda, you will get someone who has VERY LITTLE OR NOTHING you like on their agenda, which for me, is what we have right now. There is NO SUCH THING AS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE...which is what even the Democrats are finding out these days. They got sold a bill of goods with the current POTUS. I'd at least like to have an actual pro-firearms President...yeah, I know Obama hasn't gone after our firearms directly...but it ain't like he's an NRA member in good standing, either. I badly want Eric Holder to go bye-bye...and there is only one way to have that happen...

I have to wonder if Perry's entrance into the race, along with the publishing of his less than stellar academic career information, is partly to smoke out O's college transcripts. Could it be that O's aren't all that impressive either? I mean, why all the secrecy with this guy?

How many went from supporting Texas seceeding from the union to running for president a few months later? I think it was about a month when he switched from states rights on gay marriage to wanting a constitutional amendment about marriage.

I don't trust him after the vaccine thing and trans Texas corridor, I bet there is more where that came from. If you think the media was bad about insider profits for GWB's friends just wait until they really investigate Perry. I bet some already have, just waiting to spring it when it does him the most damage.

Perry's good on concealed carry but he waffled like crazy on open carry on the Gun Talk radio show. He didnt' call in any markers to help campus carry either. I don't think he objected to metal detectors in the capitol building.

There's another guy running from Texas who's pretty solid on the constitution. I'll vote for him in the primary. Dont' know what I'll do in the general election, depends on if we get stuck wtih another McCain.

I so see your point Bullwhip and if that other guy you are speaking of got the nomination I would be all out for him. Insider profits? Who in our pantheon of politicians have not and do not accept money from outside interests, because guarantee it is due to their interest's that they give money, including me when I give money to pro-gun organizations. On the vaccine and Trans-Texas Corridor, he will need to explain this and I am sure he will be required to do so. Hopefully he will come clean. I believe it was part of his growing, and just like me, when the Kenyan was elected it was a wake up call and now time for action. State's rights/Secession, I think are intertwined, don't need to back or further secession if state's rights are upheld and enforced. Perry is, I believe, pro-state's rights and he has stated he will stand up for these rights. Hopefully he is telling the truth, I believe he is. I am starting to believe the Republican Party is against campus carry, as Republicans that said, during the primary's that they would back Campus Carry, such as Ralph Sheffield, dang sure didn't do so.Also, see what happened in Arizona concerning Campus Carry, by Republicans, seems to be party driven for whatever reason. We all need to get involved in the Republican Party to change this. And I believe we can only do so within the Republican Party as the Democrats are too far gone. In the General Election, I will vote for whomever is running against the Kenyan, I pray it is Perry...

Perry signed the parking lot law but Obama signed the law allowing carry in national parks. Call it a tie.
