That's so true. Look at all the gun owners who don't even notice when people open carry in Arizona.
I'm starting to think that, as well. In as far as, if you've got the pistol in a holster and worn in a "proper" manner, a lot of people assume you are LEO or something similar (licensed security, etc.) Just as Hollywood and the news media have trained the masses to think of "licensed handgun"...they have trained them to see pistol in holster = "cop" and pistol tucked in without holster as "thug". Never mind that neither might be true, its a trained mental image.

Maverick: "That's classified."
Charlie: "That's what?"
Maverick: "That's classified. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."

I'd like to see your sources that support this claim.

Great.

"Officer, this man has a concealed gun and he threatened to kill me with it". End of CHL. Other than that, it is a funny comeback.

I understand the concern as a new carrier that someone will see.

I started carrying in 2009. Since then, unless work or federal buildings prevented me, I carry all the time.

Even carrying a 5" 1911 in just shorts and a t shirt, I have never once been "made".

Use a quality belt and holster and you'll be fine. The fear of everyone knowing you have a gun will pass the more you carry. :tiphat:

Heck , after years of open carry and realizing how few people ever noticed that, I never worry about my concealed carry.
