I'm starting to think that, as well. In as far as, if you've got the pistol in a holster and worn in a "proper" manner, a lot of people assume you are LEO or something similar (licensed security, etc.) Just as Hollywood and the news media have trained the masses to think of "licensed handgun"...they have trained them to see pistol in holster = "cop" and pistol tucked in without holster as "thug". Never mind that neither might be true, its a trained mental image.tbrown wrote:That's so true. Look at all the gun owners who don't even notice when people open carry in Arizona.bronco78 wrote:Plan, train, rehearse, but at some point.. someone will see the gun... most will not really "SEE" it though, and many will not care if they do, assuming you are a LEO.

I'd like to see your sources that support this claim.ajwakeboarder wrote:Most gangsters and/or robbers don't actually holster their handguns.

Heck , after years of open carry and realizing how few people ever noticed that, I never worry about my concealed carry.speedsix wrote:...been carrying since 1964...holster or not...never been spotted once...as Oldgringo keeps pointing out to us...concealed means concealed...it's not that hard to do...
