Speed, that is about the same stuff I've tried to instill in my own kids. No one knows what they will do in a terrible situation until they are in it, but I'd sure rather that they TRIED and maybe succeeded, instead of just waiting...it just upsets me SO much thinking about all those generally healthy teens and twenty-somethings waiting for that VA Tech killer to end them...and the only man with any guts was a Holocaust survivor who sacrificed himself so some could go out of a window...I get crying mad thinking about it...it would seem he deserved a better end after surviving such horrors as a kid.

...that hero at Va Tech had seen firsthand what happens when noone stands up against evil force...One said "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." I'd say he was an example of that in action...

Ruger .22-caliber Mark III target pistol, was bought legally in August 2010 from a gun shop in Mentor, Ohio.
Ten rounds fired. Stole gun from uncle or grandfather who kept it in a barn.

Nice pistol, mentally sick shooter. Who said .22 is under powered and for self-defense? :grumble

"An intensive manhunt was underway in western Ohio early Friday for the teen convicted of killing three students at a suburban Cleveland high school after his escape from prison." :banghead:
