I was doing some jobsite safety inspections today, and thought - if you really wanted to go incognito, put on a hardhat, and use a high visibility vest as a cover garment. I bet most people wouldn't give it a second glance. Might not work in social situations, though!

I have used the vests for years, I wear them everywhere. I have never had anything said to me other than nice vest and where can I find one. I have 4 different vest ranging from 511 to a Browning lite jacket the the sleeves zip off. I have worn them around police and everyone else. It has never been a problem. About the first to be shot thing, if you are paying attention you see problems long before they happen. They are hot to wear which is why I still have the browning lite jacket vest, it does well in the heat. My first instructor always told me you dress for success.
