Forgot to show LEO my CHL

Got a certified letter today from The Colony police dept. It seems as though the officers microphone was not working so my claim of rudeness could not be verified(imagine that). The officer did admit to threatening me with jail over not showing my CHL, but it seems to just be an "honest mistake". They thanked me for bringing this to their attention and have already addressed this issue with the rest of their officers.
This would have been easier to "take with a grain of salt" had my grandaughter not been in the car and witnessed all of it. No excuse IMO for that guy to have behaved that way.
