26 days to get a status change from "waiting to receive documents" to "under review".
14 days in background review.
2 days pending manufacturing

An observation for all that are still watching for updates after mailing docs or while background check is under review: based on my experience so far it looks like they update those two categories in batch mode once weekly on the weekend. And then once background check is finished they update nightly real time.

Wife and I mailed our same day, both updated to recieved on the same day, she has had here plastic for over two weeks.
I guess it all comes down to who gets your paperwork and who proccesses it.

Hopefully, I will have plastic when get back from Jolly old England next weekend!!!

Application done the 17th of December 2012 on line
Prints done the 21st of December
CHL class done the 22nd of December
mailed it on the 23 of December (a Sunday) at the post office.
16 Jan 2013 status changed from Waiting documentation to back ground check under review
19 Jan 2013 Status changed to Background Check : Completed
20 Jan 2013 Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending
23 Jan 2013 Concealed Handgun License : Mailed

Postmark on Envelope January 28th
In hand January 30th so
2 days in the mail but 5 days from marked mailed to postmark???
