Down 3.75% since the first numbers were recorded. I realize that these results may be flawed because of the general bias of CBS and their viewers, but the problem is that we can absolutely COUNT ON the fact that this poll will be used as proof that the nation is evenly divided on gun rights, when we know that this is actually far from the truth.

VERY interesting to look at the map of it...almost 1800 of the votes have come from overseas and the majority of those are in favor of gun control...as if they really get a say...how do the percentages look with those non-USA votes removed, I wonder?

it doesnt make much of a difference...difference of about 2%

If someone could get Matt Drudge to post this, those numbers would change in our favor, I'm CERTAIN of it...

it does change in our favor, but not much. someone using this data to make an argument for or against gun control will not influence someone over the difference it makes. again, it makes about a 2% difference, ie the nays rise by 2% and the ayes lower by 2%

The poll means NOTHING......
It is not locked down to one vote per IP.

I voted no yesterday and this morning I voted no AGAIN!

I figured it out. The poll is a Flash item. If the Flash data stored on your local machine is deleted, the ability to vote again is restored...rinse and repeat. Yep, if I were a anti- who wanted to inflate numbers, I could just sit there with the Flash settings page up, clear the data, vote and keep on going until I got bored with it...who knows how many votes each of them can churn out before their attention wanders? Obviously pro-2A folks could do the same...so I am saying that I agree with AEA that the poll ain't worth much, even as on-line polls go. Good catch, AEA.

Thanks. :tiphat:
ANYTIME I see a poll on ANYTHING, especially one on a Left Wing Site, I check to see if I can vote more than once and if I can then I consider it useless.

But my "useless" may be the other side's "perfect". They can get all their "Worker Bees" clicking all day long and get the results they want. Which they can then convince further the idiots that think their way.

Voted NO if course. However if you use the "private browsing" feature of Chrome or any browser you can vote all day long... I just placed about 20 no votes to see if it caches on and nothing.

YES: 16285, NO: 19289

Click the little "Map-It" icon in the poll box to see state by state results...Interesting, but the results are far from surprising....
