It finally changed today from "waiting for materials" to background check pending. I guess it's a better kind of waiting right?

Mine changed to mailed today so you are about 2 days from being done. It goes very fast

Mailed today for me too. That's pretty impressive, considering the changes and (assuming) the spike in renewal applicants. I completed the online registration on Sept 1. My license expired a week later, so this one can't get here soon enough!

Interesting. Mine still shows fingerprints and background check under review. Has anyone that applied prior to 9/1 who held out for the class requirement to go away had their process complete yet?

I had hoped they would do them in order of application, but I wonder if the pre-9/1 application required some additional human intervention that could have slowed the process.

I renewed in the middle of August and mine shows mailed also

I applied some time in july. Expiered 8/31. held out and mailed checklist9/4 updated 9/17 Still shows background and finger prints under reveiw.

I'm still stuck in the fingerprints and background check under review status (since September 6). My application was early in the summer; that is, considerably earlier than several of the people that already have their plastic.

I wonder, of those who got a quick turnaround time, how many have electronic fingerprints on file from the previous application? My last renewal still had the paper prints. I wonder if that makes the "review" process take longer.

my print were paper also???

up dated today. fingerprint and backgroud checks completed. Manufacture pending.
