Adult1: Thank you.
If I weren't carrying at the time I would say so as above as well.

Simply providing the DL and CHL should be all it takes.
That is where we will differ on opinion...

Sorry - been offline for a while and didn't get a chance to respond until today... as far as presenting the DL and CHL as being sufficient in the initial contact.... even Mas Ayoob agrees with me!

Good video, great advice. This is exactly how I have/would approach a stop. I give both DL and CHL armed or not.
No need to provide a CHL if not armed, and since the general consensus in here seems to be one should only do exactly what the law requires why would you do that? Are you trying to receive courtesy because you are a CHL holder?
Absolutely not. I provide both because I have read numerous accounts on this forum of LEOs who are ignorant regarding CHL laws and believe that you are required to provide that information even if you aren't armed. By providing both (information that the officer would discover after running my DL anyway) I am eliminating any potential for misunderstanding and accounting for the lack of continuing education by a few LEOs.
For one who often complains about people painting with a broad brush, you seem to be using a whopper of a brush in your response.

Alright, drop it. We have had just about enough of this type of comments.
