Going squirrel hunting.
You should come squirrel hunting in my front yard. I put out four traps starting two months ago and have caught more than fifteen squirrels. I live in the city of Plano... by the way. Dawg gone tree rats get into the attic for warmth and flat out tear it up. They never quit coming. I am wondering if I am ever going to get rid of them.
Try sprinkling some mothballs in your attic. They sure work to keep rats & mice away.
The guy across the street did this. It worked, chased all the squirrels right over to my house. The problem was, his whole house smelled of mothballs for months. After six months, the odor is still detectable in some of his rooms.
It sounds like he used WAY too many. I said "sprinkle". A little goes a long way. Those rodent noses are several orders of magnitude more sensitive than ours.
I may give it a shot. I had considered that he may have put to many but after smelling it all over his house, I was pretty worried about having the same issue. Thanks for the tip. :cheers2:
I use peppermint oil, same effect as moth balls without the terrible smell.
I like that idea.

I thought Football was an officially recognized religion in Texas. We build stadiums like the Europeans built cathedrals.

If it were Texas football, yes. This is not Texas football.

I didn't remember you saying you were a Longhorns fan. My son graduated from UT. He would agree with you!

Yes sir, I do. Now that I'm used to carrying, it will be strange not being able to....especially in a place where you feel like you need it.

Drink some coffee, do some things around the house. Try not to be lazy. Drink some more coffee. Probably end up lazy. Maybe something fun in the workshop, s'posed to be cold out, though.

Might run up to the Gibson's, look at guns I can't buy, hope they have some Unique in stock. Should go to Home Depot, one of our cabinets has stopped staying closed all of a sudden, gotta love old houses. Should just buy the parts I need at Gibson's but the drive to HD takes me past the Chicken Express, which suddenly sounds good for tomorrow.

I'm not a sports fan, never have been. Basically it will be just like any other Sunday.

You may not need to go a full 10 miles... just make sure you cross a few busy roads and they won't be making it back.
