Good for you! I am looking forward to your range report to see if you had as much fun with yours as I've had with mine.puma guy wrote:Took a trip north to Huntsville to get my next firearm. An M1 Carbine and some accessories. Had a nice meet up with bilgerat57 and made the deal. The problem is I met up with a friend who lives there and after lunch we went to Able's. My salivary glands were working overtime. SIGS, HK's lots and lots of firearms. Too many to list making it hard to decide what I NEED next! Though it's not on my list I handled a NEMO AR in .300 Win Mag. We were helped by a young man named Clayton who was the most helpful salesman I have ever encountered in a gun store. Even found some CCI 22LR at WalMart
Upper/Under? Depending on your budget, you have to pick up a Beretta or a Browning.Commander Cody wrote:12ga. Coach Gun... Suggestions welcome.
Get a Tikka T3 SS lite. under $550 would compete for $1,000+ rifles.jamminbutter wrote:Currently researching 30-06 rifles.

Ditto!!! The Tavor intrigues me...Salty1 wrote:To me this is a fairly simple choice, now if my wallet would only agree. A perfect stable mate to my SCAR 17s.

Thanks, TAM. I'll write it up when I take it to the range. They are fun to shoot. We shot my dad's old 1960's CMP carbin and I bought my own when I got old enough. They were my favorite guns to shoot. I reloaded and always had plenty of ammo. My dad's gun is sort of tied up (he passed away in 2011 and then my mom passed this year. Mine was stolen back in 1995. I figure I'll end up with my dad's, but I couldn't wait any longer. We're coming up to DFW area (Mansfield) 10/18 so I think I'll bring it and let my son-in-law have some fun with it at Alpine. The Annoyed Man wrote:Good for you! I have both the 19 and the 26. The 19 seems to sit in the safe most of the time.nightmare69 wrote:Glock 19 with night sights for consealed carry.
