Hello there Ive been lurking for awhile. I felt i couldnt offically post until i had my plastic my timeline is as follows.

Class:12/20
Application:4/18
Chl 100 submission:4/20
Fingerprints and email confirmation:4/22
Plastic in hand:5/12

Right at a 3 week wait.

Called this morning....ugh....where do they get these people????? Told me that they were still doing my background check....she was kinda crabby.....I guess she needed another cup of coffee this morning.

And so the waiting continues

Ok Guys here is my timeline

April 6: Application
April 11: CHL Class completed
April 11: Fingerprints Taken/Supporting Docs Submitted
May 14: Status Changed (could have been earlier this was the first time I checked it this week because I was tired of logging in to find no change in status)
May 14th: Plastic in Hand; Wally Walk Completed

New to forum and wanted to post my timeline.
4/12 CHL Class
4/13 Electronic Submission of Documents
4/14 Confirmation Email Received
4/15 Finger Prints Submitted

Only been one month so I figure I will wait until two months to call if not received by then. I put off getting CHL for five years so another month won't bother too much. Harris County from all I can tell runs a little longer than others. Do not want to distract agents with yet another phone call. So I come to sit in waiting room.

5-15 walley walk complete(with a bonus diner with the wife)

26 days...not bad

Also shout out to Doug at Ps. 91 in Abilene that did a bunch of free CHL academics for my military buddies and me. Made the process easy!

Update: the wife's plastic came in the mail today. She also informed me we will be going wardrobe shopping to find her new cc clothing.
