As opposed to Cabelas, where they hand over the gun as soon as the paperwork is done. I was there a couple weeks back, turned a corner in the clothing department and walked right in front of the muzzle of a shotgun belonging to a guy who bought one and decided to play with it while his wife was picking out clothes.
The Cabelas in Allen has walked the gun to the front with every one of them that I have purchased from them. They use a lot of tape on the boxes too!
Ditto the Fort Worth Cabelas - they walk all purchases AND any firearms brought in for things like scope mounting to the front door.

I found some WMR a week or two ago at a Walmart. It took me a few seconds to realize what I was looking at. I can't use it, but my BIL can, so I picked up a few boxes for him. He hasn't seen any in so long he's been shooting LR through his rifle with disappointing results. Hopefully, he'll be happier the next time we get out together.

BTW, I also don't think I've paid more than 0.06 cents per round for LR and usually it is in the neighborhood of 0.045-0.05 cents per round when I do find some.

Here is an option that increases fun and accuracy.

Loaned it to a buddy that was using his 10/22 right out of the box (after sighting in). He went from missing regularly to downing all the pigs, chickens, and other steel he set the sights on.
