And yes, I have had Wal-mart security try to detain me for refusing to let them mark my receipt...It was fun

FTR, I did NOT write the last part of the above "Quote".

Although I don't particularly enjoy or really see the purpose of door checks, I just let 'em do their thing and press on. There are enough hassles in life without making mountains out of mole hills.

OTOH, not being waited on after several pages and hanging around the ammo counter for 20 minutes waiting for a clerk with keys, DOES tic me off!

I wanted to pick up some ammo at the Hurst W/M last week. I had to go to the auto service counter and have someone paged to come to sporting goods 'cause there was no one around. A short wait later, a nice enough teenage(ish) girl with tri colored hair showed up. When I told her I wanted some .45 she said she had to go and get the keys from the person who had them because he had just gone to lunch "I hope he's still in the lunch room." After 5-10 minutes she returned with the keys and I made my purchase.

This or something similar has occured to me almost each time I go to wal-mart to purchase ammo. Poor way to treat customers.

I think the differance with SAM's club is that the right to check your receipt is written into the membership agreement. I could be wrong and someone will correct me if I am.
