Priebus is Chief of Staff

I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing, even if he is an insider. It'll help get things going through the legislature, hopefully. There's a few things that I'd like to see get done... (

If you are new to the wilderness, you need guides that know the wilderness. It certainly doesn't mean every cabinet member must be a Washington insider, but Trump's choice for Chief of Staff was brilliant.

It sure looks like it should help move his agenda through the works. I'm not unhappy with this pick by any stretch either.

Not directly related to the Topic, but not worth starting a new one. On the 60 Minutes interview this evening (in which, BTW, Leslie Stahl was leftist-media contentious several times) President-elect Trump stated that he will not take the federally-established salary for President of the United States. He will take a $1 annual salary instead.
So he saves the taxpayers over $1.6 million before even taking office.

This! I didn't see that clip, but that's a refreshing thing to hear!

After reading the Times article, it looks like their pledge today to treat the new administration without bias, was their usual load of leftist garbage.

Yeah, I'm not too surprised. They also had an article about Pence that made it sound like the lefties are a little worried. It left me feeling pretty good.

LOVE this thread!! The night (OK, early the morning after) of the election my family after the liberal media FINALLY reported that BIllary had conceded, I posted EXACTLY that thought on my facebook page (and I don't spend much time on facebook); "While I'd LOVE to see Ted Cruz as POTUS, I'm starting to think I'd love to see him MORE as the conservative anchor and leader of the NEW SUPREME COURT!!!!" Let's all reach out to him to see if he's interested, and if so, LET'S HELP MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

The Preibus pick has all republican lawmakers pleased. This is a great first step toward uniting the party and passing his agenda into law.
As for Ted Cruz for the SCOTUS, he's not on Trump's list. Maybe he could make the list if there is a second seat that becomes open when Justice Ginsburg moves to New Zealand.
