I heard on CBS radio news this morning that SOCOM is watching the events VERY closely. I'll bet they are!

i had the privilege of visiting there in the mid 80's...

today i watched live, as government vehicles ran over protesters. I also saw same protesters run towards vehicle with a flaming bottle and almost got a score.
sure pray we don't screw up and send in troops until the new guy is seated and we can do a humanitarian help
but with Russia, Cuban and Chinese advisors on the ground....anything could happen

if maduro flees the country, maybe his jet will suffer a traumatic event as it crashes into the ocean.

the oil argument is false as we out produce crude. we also export more refined product to the world than we take in in raw crude.
we should be flooding the energy market to further weaken russia, iran and the untrusty Saudis.

we also export tons and ton of CNG to Europe , all produced domestically
texas leads the nation in oil and gas refining and crude production.

I think you mean LNG. CNG is what goes into busses and stuff.

Hopefully Maduro will meet the same fate as Mussolini. His intelligence forces have apparently abandoned defending his apparatchiks.

Gun violence in Venezuela plummets as bullets become too expensive.

Criminals are having to cut back as victims are much poorer now.

This is what Modern Monetary Theory does to civilization. Weaponizing currency and then using it against your own people is a war crime that should be punished for what it is.

There are people whose arrogance make them wish to bring this poison here, and we must fight it.
