The word "hate" is being overused and misused by the media and certain public figures on a daily basis. Disagreement is not "hate" and it's okay not to like everybody and everything. :tiphat:

"State Line." Nations and States have borders. Even if they're not defended.

State highways have lines.

That's exactly what I'm talkin' about! It's just as easy to despise something/somebody as it is to hate that entity. Granted, "despise" is not a monosyllable but it can be pronounced with practice. :tiphat:

My college room mate refused to say the "H-word". He always said "despise". He also used to say "Oh Peshaw."

Borders include the line between states also. The fact that we don't usually call them that doesn't make it incorrect to do so. By the same token, it is perfectly reasonable for that to be a "Word use that drives you up the wall!" :coolgleamA:

It aggravates me when people spell sequins as "sequence". I see that all the time. Ack.

"Hey Hey, Ho Ho" as part of their chant when lefty's group together to protest something they don't agree with like free speech!

It's extremely tiresome to hear and worse, painfully unoriginal.

Everytime my wife ask if I want to go "down" to her dad's I cringe. We live in Texas, he lives in Oklahoma. Last time I looked at a map, Oklahoma was above Texas.

The last time I heard that was at a Vietnam war protest.
