Sen Estes also says he wants to keep the bill "clean" with no amendments. Good. So the next guy up says "I respect that" but I am going to offer a bunch of amendments anyway.

Respecting his request and agreeing and complying are completely different. None of these will be accepted, just let him have his moment because as Estes said, it's his right to offer amendments.

Let's see how long it goes before they start rushing him through them. :cheers2:

I saw a report that they found over 100 handguns from the Waco incident. I wonder how many holsters and CHLs got inventoried?

Estes is completely correct. No one is saying this amendment doesn't have merit, but it needs to be analyzed as to what impacts to other state reciprocity it would have and offered as its own standalone bill.
