Lines 22-29 are relating to 30.07 are they not? Page 31 deals with 30.07.

The amendment's author only mentioned 30.06, not open carry. So if HB910 passes with this amendment, 30.06 will still apply to CC, but with a somewhat lesser penalty, and no mention of how it applies to OC.
That's what I gathered. So if I followed that, 30.07 still has the Class A penalty but concealed carry gets the lesser penalty.
I haven't read the amendment but when being questioned he mentioned 30.07 would apply, too
I missed that. thanks I didn't see it in the amendment but there may be something in the surrounding bill language I'm not recalling.

That will have someone we know frothing at the mouth!
Since 30.07 is being added by this bill, I suspect that was an oversight on his part, rather than a shot at open-carry.

I realize open-carry has not finally passed yet, but today represents the culmination of two years of work by the NRA and TSRA under some of the most difficult circumstances we've faced in years. Thanks to NRA lobbyist Tara Mica and TSRA lobbyist Alice Tripp for a job very well done!

Charles, will the amendment be modified for 30.06 and 30.07 to both be included in the downgrade to a class C?
I have the text of the amendment, but I can't find copy of the bill with page breaks to determine where the changes are being made.

The Campus carry amendment was a most interesting twist. I know you can't discuss it but that would have been a brilliant coup.

Nothing like a public humiliation on the Floor of the Texas House of Representatives, to make him take a lonnnggggg introspective look! But I don't think it'll do much good.

So what is left for it to pass, Abbott signing or more?
