Yes but how long before you log in to check status and can see something besides "SUBMITTED" show? I believe I read somewhere it takes 48 hours but that's long passed and now I must be setting some sort of record for # of logins to their site!

Mine took 8 calendar days.

I also truly believe that updates are currently taking place overnight. None of my updates happened during the day. They all happened when I would log on the next morning. So I don't think checking throughout the day does any good except to make you more anxious. Not that I didn't constantly check it every 2 hours until mine mailed.

I decided to call and make sure they received everything. Nice lady reviews the file and says "yep - you're good to go. Should mail out this week."

LTC Class and Range Qualification - 6/4/16
Supporting Documents Submitted and E-mail Confirmation - 6/6/2016

Receive mailed letter from DPS - 6/17/16 - This was to inform me that my classroom section was incomplete because the instructor name and number were not printed on the form.

Resubmission of updated CHL-100 Form and E-mail Confirmation - 6/20/16

Status page stuck on needing CHL-100 information, background check, and passport holder photo all yellow during this time.

Status Page Update/Change (Print Pending): 7/24/16 - All statuses had changed to green except for bottom status was yellow.
Status Change (All Green - Mailed) - 7/26/16
Plastic In Hand - 7/28/16

Hell, I submitted everything on the 18th and again on the 23rd and then called twice and was told, "we did not receive anything from you on the 18th but we did receive your documents on the 23rd, so you need to wait 60 days.". I asked the second lady I spoke with how long it takes for them to update the online status page and she said it doesn't normally update until they're almost ready to send you license. Both ladies I've spoke with couldn't find my chl-100 then after I told them I sent it twice they put me on hold and then came back and said they had it...frustrating. I hope them having to "look for" my chl-100 doesn't delay my application or even worse have my application passed up because they think I don't have everything.
According to DPS I was "all in" on the 23rd and I am still stuck on: "Application processed online. Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials".

I read on here somewhere that it updates (or is manually updated?) between 5am and 8am. I'm not sure how true that is but that's what I heard.

Man your lucky! I hope mine moves that quick but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Called DPS again today and spoke to the same lady from the previous conversation who seemed less than amused that I called her again lol. She said that my application was being processed now. Good news.

Well my dps page finally shows all green except for background review. It's been 7 days since dps received my supporting documents.

7/15/2016 - Application Submitted
7/15/2016 - Fingerprints by Identogo
7/16/2016 - Class
7/17/2016 - CHL-100 uploaded
7/25/2016 AM - No confirmation email yet- called to verify, they said everything I need has been recieved.
7/25/2016 late PM - Status was more detailed and all green except last two about "background check under review" and "print pending application completion"
7/26/2016 - All green except "Print Pending"
7/30/2016 - Mailed/status change I'm able to change address!
No plastic in hand yet and I'll probably have to wait until Monday or Tuesday!


Very surprised about my times! Although I've always lived in the same city and a clean BG except a couple speeding tickets I did defensive driving for

I haven't had a whole lot of time with my holster, but now the last hours is the longest part of the application!

So if you submit docs two times they don't see the first ones that were submitted?

Well dps site shows mailed as of today and as I was pulling out of the driveway to go to the gym I saw the mailman at my box....hopefully after 123 days of waiting I can do my Wally walk today

15 days total....pretty quick looks like someone lit a fire under the folks at dos and started crack in the whip making them pump out those apps

Received a email today thinking it was for my confirmation of them getting my documents. Nope it was from them but said they received stuff for a prescription pad! what the heck!!!
