is key I believe and I hope that it's investigated to the fullest extent. including that officer's and the officer's girlfriend's motive for providing the "tip". I really hope all the truth comes out in this retaliatory raid on this couple that led, per the DA to their murders.

Here is some more recent information about the "tip" leading to the deadly Harding Street Raid. You need a subscription to read the Chronicle story. There is still missing information about how this tip from an anonymous caller translated into probable cause for the search warrant and the subsequent raid.

A recently surfaced tip scrawled on a yellow legal pad that a southeast patrol officer passed to a narcotics lieutenant she was romantically involved with apparently
triggered the botched drug raid that resulted in murder charges against a Houston police officer, according to probable cause affidavits.

Gerald Gaines, ex cop a center of Harding Street raid and murders arrested by FBI.

I guess it’s now serious. 8 count fed indictment on top of 2 counts of murder.

Oh no! I was not aware. One of the police officers is paralyzed from the waist down.

This tragedy piled on tragedy.

Still the mayor and Police chief are in power. What a shame

The 911 caller was arrested too. That is another part of the scandal

I hope, one day, the public will learn what really happened in this incident.
Remember, the police chief promised full transparency and that we would know--then everybody lawyered up and went to ground. Crickets.
I want to know what really happened at that house and the questionable warrant--remember the alleged informant said wasn't him--soooo.

This is new information. The 911 caller, Patricia Garcia, a neighbor of the Tuttles, was arrested by the FBI.
Goines and Bryant were also arrested by the FBI for Civil Rights violations [4th Amendment] and Obstruction of Justice.

The three are set to appear in court [11/20/2019] at 2 p.m. If convicted, Goines could face up to life in prison, while Garcia
faces 5-years for presenting false information. Each obstruction of justice charge carries up to 20-years in prison.

More on the counts. Additional police officer arrested. And charges against 911 caller. Caller faces 5 years.

Chief is still conflicted and doubling down that there was reason to be at that location. What Horse Brown Stuff is that?

Hopefully the FBI keeps investigating upward until all of the malfeasance is uncovered.

Perhaps Acevedo will have to flee to his communist country of birth.

Some study today, kids arn’t being taught who Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot are and what they did. Communism does not have the bad label it had when we were kids.
