Same status update here. I have a clean record,so I was hoping it went through quickly compared to others on the forum
With clean records that had to wait several weeks for background check to complete.
you think we will go to mailed status tomorrow? What is your guess? Seems like 2-3 business days seems pretty typical before they get them out the door once it hits print pending.

My wife got in touch with someone with the DPS today. All they told her is that they have 180 days from when they receive new supporting documents. She told them she will be calling twice a week until it comes in.

best of luck to her. Hopefully it arrives sooner rather than later. I can only fathom having to wait that long. Have y'all considered going the arizona/virginia route in the meantime?

Thank you. We will likely just wait for Texas.

My guess is that they go to mailed status today, and arrive no later than Monday. When my status went to "print pending" I actually thought
it may arrive by Thurs or Friday.
I just submitted a request for an Arizona packet yesterday, so I will be playing the waiting game again soon.

Arizona received my packet on 27 Jan and mailed 15 Feb, got it in the mail on the 22nd I think. I got my Texas LTC a week before the Arizona lol. In all fairness, I submitted my Texas LTC on 22 Nov 17 and got it on 16 Feb 2017

Status also changed to mailed today. How awesome! I know it sounds dumb, but I feel like 50 pounds has been lifted off my shoulders.

Well finally after sending and having all information received on December 2, 2016 and after numerous calls my 60 days was up on Monday and tried to give me the same run around that they have 60 to 180 where as I said 180 applies if further information was needed. She toldid me to hold while she looked then tells me fingerprints and background passed yesterday now print pending. Seems like you have to press them to actually work to get the information you need. Can't believe with a clean record this still took almost 3 months.

Finally! I'm sure she is really excited! Thank goodness the two of you didn't have to go through the entire 180 day wait.

She is happy and said maybe it was because she told them she was going to call twice a week!

haha, you know, that could have had something to do with it. I wonder how many employees they actually have working at one time in that office...

Not sure. I do know that during peak times they will not even let you stay on hold. They say cool volume is too high and suggest you try again later.
