Well that depends... did he remove his ammunition from the gun? Did he unload his magazine, and then store his loose ammo in a separate safe from his empty magazine which is stored is a separate safe from his handgun? Oh, and just to be clear each of those safes need to have different locks/codes/or unlocking devices, otherwise they are not independent because one individual could open each of the safes without help from another individual. In order to ensure that the safes are safe, you must require 3-factor verification in order to open....

HB 1407 is still on the Calendar for tonight, not as big a deal but would be nice.

I'm glad the bill is through its second reading, but Amendment 18 doesn't seem like a positive step.

I dont know who is speaking, but he tells a story of someone who had to use a hand towel holder to defend his family until he was shot. Ironic he cant snap that if the victim had a gun instead of a towel holder would have had a better chance of living.

That would be Gutierrez. Truth is, he nor no one else truly knows how many people are gun owners in Texas, but I'll bet its WAY more than 3.5%.

3.5% of Texans are LTC holders. I don't think he was talking about total gun owners
