Frequently results in intended discharges, too. Yup, did what it was supposed to.
I'm sorry, but "Glock" and "safety" aren't really used together often. And I know of know gun that magically knows the difference between a 3yo's finger and an adult's. He should sue his own department for failing to warn him of such a dangerous, and porbably standard issue, gun.
exactly why i don't carry one or would even have one loaded in my house.
Here's an idea...make sure you have it secure so your kids cannot get it. I have a Glock and it is in a safe that I have the combo to and my kids don't. It ain't rocket science.

Sad, misfortunate happening ...
I'd be interested in seeing his LAPD / Cadet training records, weapons training record, work, shift records.
Wondering how many seat belt, child restraint, infractions he has cited other drivers for ? .... I'll bet his personal driving record, is impeccable too.
Years as a Cop, you'd think he'd have better attention / awareness skills, OR .. was it a double standard ?
WOULDN'T a Glock .45 Caliber, BREAK.. OR at least SPRAIN a 3 year old's hand ??? (I'm just saying )
Bless them all.
Mac

Ummmmmm....yea.
Well now maybe I will sue Craftsman for dropping that hammer on my foot after reading that.
Not to make light of the situation but based on that report if I was that LEO I'd be more worried having charges filed against me for allowing that child to be in that situation than suing Glock. He is just trying to exploit this situation probably out of anger and embarrassment at himself. Its easy to point the finger when you do something stupid and you know it.
