28 Days later are not actually 'zombies' by definition. They are not undead, rather they are much alive, but infected with a virus.
A Zombie, by definition, is undead. So, Romero movies is what we're discussing.

28 days later zombies do not require headshots to kill, because they are alive, they will die from vital organ shots, however, don't expect them to slow down until they literally drop dead from them.
Headshots are still best.
yep you are right....but I seem to remember Romero just remade one of his Zombie movies and used the fast moving Zombie. I just hope its the slow moving kind!

Anyone else have a problem with the amount of body fluid the infected expressed in order to spread the virus when all it took was a drop? It seemed unsustainable.

According to the "Zombie Land" trailer I saw before "District 9" last night, zombies can run. Who knew?

Sadly, you forgot the ak-47, the ultimate zombie gun.

I really really enjoyed "Zombie Land". I didn't expect an intellectual night out at the movies, and I got what I expected. Full of gross laughs. One of Bill Murray's best moments of acting.

I like the "rules".

I was really pleasantly surprised at how good the movie was. Much more enjoyable than I expected.

But it did show the real problem with a side by side shotgun. Double taps are quick, but follow-up shots for the next zombie were a little slow because of the reload. And the zombies really liked to attack in packs.

Gotta stick with my trusty ol Mini 14 on this one. Not really accurate but the action can handle being dirty and still work.

finally, after having given years of thought to the persistent question of how to ward off a massive zombie attack, I have recognized the availability of the perfect weapon.....

the REMOTE CONTROL..... (it has an "off" switch)

I think i'd take a SAW...not too heavy, has good firepower, takes standard mags as backup....if i get a sidearm it'd be Glock 18
