Not just Texas. In previous threads I have mentioned that we have property in TN. On the property there was a small cabin and an "RV Pad". The cabin is just a square with two windows and a door. We had a small 23' Jayco that we left there and used from time to time when we were there. We we went over a year without visiting the property. On our recent trip to FL we made the out of the way drive to check on our property. What we discovered is the RV was gone. After a few weeks of dealing with the local sheriff's office, we found out the RV was converted to a meth lab* and was confiscated. We are still trying to determine where it is, how or if we can get it back, why we were never notified, etc. Bottom line--as others have said--do not leave anything there that you may want. Crime is committed by all nationalities whether or not they got here legally or not.

*Upon our return to TX we found out that TN now has first place in the meth lab count.

I understand the practicality of leaving the door unlocked so they don't damage the property. It's just such a sad state of affairs that honest, law abiding Americans are used to the idea of surrendering their property to illegals and want to do it with as little hassle as possible.

The reconquista is here, and we're just sitting back and watching. Dept of Homeland Security is busy seizing domain names of websites that stream tv shows, or poker websites (can't have Americans spending money how they want, no sir!), or cracking down on Nissan Skyline owners. Sure am glad the border is so secure!

Seems everyone with property down there has accepted the reality of letting it happen because its happening so often, with no relief from the govt in sight. Sure, Mr and Mrs illegal, come in, use my property, I can't stop you. No wonder people feel entitled to our money for welfare, medical care, education, etc. We already just leave the front doors unlocked to our private property because its less hassle.
