I'll be watching next season from my iPad... I can't believe Dish dropped AMC for real

Amazon makes the episodes available the next day, at least that's how it was with Breaking Bad episodes... So, I'll be watching Monday nights instead of the regular time

I don't have dish but I have seen several commercials on AMC blasting Dish for not having AMC. They must have gotten into a fight over money. If I had Dish, I would cancel and change to someone who does have AMC. There are a couple(several) shows on AMC I like. Hell on Wheels, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead... I even like Mad Men, although it is beginning to get a bit repetitive.

Not to help sidetrack this thread but I saw some of those anti-Dish commercials on regular broadcast TV the other night. Its hilarious!
*Deep announcer voice* "Do you want to see what happens next in AMC's Walking Dead? It all starts in October! But NOT if you have DISH Network! If you have DISH Network you can't see this. Dish Network won't carry it. Dish network kills puppies and steals candy from babies! Dish network supports Al Qaeda!" and so on and so on.

Bawaaahahahahaha!!! Yep... that was the commercial. In the one I saw, they mentioned Dish supporting Columbian drug cartels.

Unfortunately for me the other options aren't viable: Direct TV's equipment won't work with the number of TV's I have; I even signed up with them but when the tech came to install he said what I wanted couldn't be done. Comcast (cable) is the other option, but I had them before and their customer service is horrible.

I am hoping AT&T would offer Uverse in this area soon... meanwhile I'll stick with Dish and Amazon Prime for AMC shows...

That is a bummer. Amazon Prime is a good alternative. I live in Plano and we have an abundance of options for cable. I got into a tiff with DirectTV a couple years ago. They promised a bunch of free install stuff and when the tech came out, he tried to make me pay for each and every room. They wanted to ding me for around 300 dollars. I ran him off. Now I use Verizon FIOS. so far I have no complaints.

My son found a web sight where you could download bootleg copies of it. I am not sure of the sight or even how to use it but it was "free". Other than the violation of piracy laws...LOL. Not being very good at internet, I am always afraid of going to sights like that.

AAAAAHHHH!!!! I just watched the entire second half of season 2 today! Thank you Netflix.

If a network doesn't stream a show online, I don't watch it. I stopped watching a few shows because of that and quickly found other things to do with that free time.

Reminder!! New episode tonight!! Funny story. AMC is running a marathon walking dead day. During the commercials, AMC, is making some pretty funny statements about dish network. One I just saw said something like ... warning, their is a threat running across the land, DISH network no longer carries AMC ... Call all your friends and tell them to switch cable providers!... That may not be exact phrasing but it is pretty close. It is cracking me up!!
