Unfortunately, if handing the "football" to Obama is like giving a gun to a 10 year old, handing the "football" to Biden is like handing that gun to a monkey. Neither can be trusted with command authority over the military.

After careful consideration, I am against any action in Syria. My president has not made his case and drew a red line and now he's not accepting responsibility for it. I truly felt embarrassed watching him back-peddle his way out of it. I do not feel comfortable with a commander in chief giving orders to our troops when he can't stand by his word. I worry for our troops! They might get left behind. If he could do it to his own ambassador, he wouldn't bat an eye for an airman who might get shot down. Expendable, is a word that comes to mind. Besides, sequestration part 2 is about to hit the military even harder, so we obviously can't afford to drop bombs or lob missiles, they cost money! And they're considering cutting combat pay, so NO, another reason we can't afford to send troops...

No, let them sort their own troubles out. They like living in the dark ages, so be it.

As a mater of truth, if the Syria Campaign does serve the interest of the Jewish state, Israel, the strike would happen no matter what.

For all "Nay sayers", how do you deal with Iran when Iran wants to go nuclear? If the threat of force is no more, than KSA and Turkey and maybe Egypt would go nuclear in 6 months after notifying and withdrawing from NPT.

Maybe we should just be fare.............. Bomb the daylights out of both sides that should cover all bases. Then tell them to sit down an figure it out or tell Russia,China, Iran to figure it out. Anyway, no matter how you look at it not our problem.

With Russia and China involved I don't see how anyone can reasonably see them not becoming nuclear armed. It's only a matter of time before everyone is armed. We should stay out of it.

Syria problem caused by global warming.

A Fox news commentator made an error on their broadcast this morning. He said Assad was the only person to kill people with nerve gas since Hitler.

I found no method to contact Fox news so they could set the record straight.

Terrible that they would allow such a factual error to be made on their network. Maybe its part of being balanced, they have to promote lies with the truth.

Saddam Hussein (remember him) used nerve gas repeatedly in Iraq against his own people the Kurds and in the Iraq/Iran war. He piled up a much higher body count than 1400. I believe Assad or the rebels got all of his nerve gas from Saddam just before we invaded.

Oh and yeah and our current president was against taking any action against him.
