Can't make up my mind. I may build an AR-10 more than likely. Buy an 80% & go to work.

I have both the 19 and the 26. The 19 seems to sit in the safe most of the time.
I may keep my Sig Sauer P250 subcompact 9mm and get a glock 26 to have something smaller to carry.

I would like to get a Winchester Model 94 Trapper in .357 magnum but most are way overpriced these days.

For me, a shotgun of some sorts. Probably a 20 gauge so the wife can shoot it easily as well. 12 gauge will have to wait.

Or a proper rifle-length upper for my AR-15 lower. Have a 7.5" barrel on it now, and the sound and fireball is too obnoxious to shoot for any extended period of time.

Or a S&W M&P Shield for something a little smaller to CC. Glock 19 is great and all, but sometimes gets uncomfortable.

Don't understand. It's the thickness that is hard to conceal. G26 n g19 are the same thickness. Explain?

I don't really have issues concealing it. I carry my G19 at 1 o'clock in a PHLster Skeleton (appendix holster), and I carry an extra mag at 11 o'clock in an IWB holster to balance it out. I just think it would be nice to have something lighter for when I'm being more active. It usually takes several hours of being active for me to notice it becoming uncomfortable, so I feel that a lighter gun in a smaller package (width and length) would help with that. Haven't tried the G26 yet, but I've shot the Shield and it felt great. My only minor complaint being the trigger.

Have you looked at the S.A. XDS line? Thin, light and good quality.

I have, but I haven't shot any of them. I think my boss has one in .40 (I'd prefer 9mm) if I can ever get him to come to the range with me.

I have the .45 XDS, which isn't that hard to shoot, and I think 9mm would be easy; but I've never enjoyed shooting .40 cal regardless of pistol size — finding it to have a combination of the worst recoil characteristics of the other two calibers. I wouldn't mind owning a 9mm XDS, but I definitely wouldn't buy a .40 cal version.
