Thanks! Yes, the P-01 is a 75 compact, with a lightweight alloy railed frame. It is a pure joy to carry and shoot. It has some work done to it internally, and those are VZ grips in their frag pattern. Slightly thinner than the comfy stock grips, grippy enough to be good shooters without being abrasively grippy like some of their other patterns.

I really like that model. One of the reasons I didn't buy one was because of the availability of holsters.
My first carry gun was a Sphinx AT-380. It's a great little .380ACP handgun, but I had hard time finding a holster for it.
I have since gone to the PX-4 Subcompact. I like it a lot.

The new Berettas are interesting. I almost picked one up a few years ago.

The good news on P-01 holsters is availability is much better these days. The one pictured is a blade tech, I've also used an alien gear iwb quite a bit, and galco makes some leather options I believe. If you're ever in Bell county shoot me an IM and you can shoot it.

I happen to be a big fan of High Noon Holsters (Snapper model). I have a Snapper that was for another gun (can't remember what gun) and the P01 actually fits it's pretty good but the holster is just a hair long. It works but I'm going to order a P01 Snapper in the next few weeks.

I know that a lot of guys want inside the waist holsters but I would think that High Noon makes those for the P01.

Of all my holsters that I've churned through, High Noon is my absolute favorite.

Thank you for the offer, the issue will be.... Mines bigger...... err, well different in any case. or I think it is. The gun i want to work on is a Pre B ...Ive read the trigger assembly install is not for the faint of heart to get out or back in.... I'll do some more research and if it's something I want to try I'll give a yell.

Need to find a trustworthy smith as a back up..one that accepts a box of parts to be reassembled...

I forgot about this thread. I bought a CZ75 P01 for my wife as her new EDC. Arthritis in her hands is making it unpleasant to shoot her Kimber Ultra Carry in 45 ACP. Thankfully, a diet change is making it much better, but the CZ is so much easier for her to shoot that she'll stick with it. It's only about 1/2" longer in the slide and about 2 ounces heavier than the Ultra Carry.

Yesterday, I shot my CZ P09 at DPC"s the Real Steel Match and It is the best shooting polymer (stock) pistol till date for me save the 1911s. trigger is easy to get used to and like. On one stage, I got hung up on the one target, till I adjust the position of my trigger finger. Do not slap the trigger and keep finger contact with the trigger on 2nd shots and you would love the CZ.
The second best Polymer Pistol was The Caracal F.

What is the general consensus of the new Omega triggers for the CZs? I'm torn between getting the safety or the decocker model and it seems like the Omega trigger can switch between both modes.

I'm very new to CZ, but we have two. My wife's is a P-01 and mine is a Compact PCR. Both have decockers and I much prefer a safety. That's probably because I've carried a 1911 cocked & locked for decades. I've considered getting an Omega, but I'm not sure they can compare with a CZ with all CajunGunWorks parts installed. CGW doesn't list much, if anything, for the Omega. It may be that the Omega can be polished and achieve the same results as a gun with CGW parts, but I'd be surprised. The CGW Pro Kit makes the CZ75 a different gun.

From what I've read, the Omega is not as easy to fine tune as the original trigger. If you want a stock trigger and the ability to switch between the two, the Omega sounds like what you want.

If you're wanting to really take your CZ to the next level, opt for the original trigger style. Much, much, much more aftermarket support.

I'm still using my P-01 as my daily carry....it replaced my G19, something I wasn't sure could ever be done.

I have to resist the urge to go nuts and buy an accu shadow every couple of months.

i missed the sp-01 sale but i'm seeing some good prices on the sp-01 tactical around lately.
i'll likely just jump on the next p07 deal i find.

Thanks for the feedback. Aftermarket support is pretty important to me. Just had a look at Cajun Gun Works and the selection is impressive. I will stick with the classic trigger, leaning to the manual safety version. I don't mind cocked and locked, love my 1911 and Hi-Power.

If you're a Hi Power and 1911 guy, keep an eye out for the CZ 75 SA. Extended beaver tail, extended ambi safeties, SAO trigger. They're nice stock, but you can put in a flat SAO trigger from CGW that makes an amazing shooter when combined with their hammer and springs. This is probably my favorite gun I've ever owned.
