I have seen a couple. A guy in Academy and a guy loading up his SUV in front of a gas station. I'm really kind of surprised I haven't seen more. I OC a lot. It's so much more comfortable, and I haven't had any negative reactions. Before the law passed, I stated that I probably wouldn't OC, but once I tried it out and found it to be such a non-issue I'm just really enjoying it. It's also a great way to influence the public in a positive way for gun rights and gun ownership. I try to be a good ambassador, and I truly believe it makes a difference. Many people really haven't formed an opinion in the gun rights debate, and we have the opportunity to affect what opinion they form just by being visible and not being the type of people the Antis paint us to be.

I have open carried almost everywhere I have gone, but I have yet to see another OC'er at all.
Surprising to me as well!

I've been OC in our little town with no drama. I did have a young fellow come over and shake my hand while I was at the gas pump for my "concealed carry". "When I'm old enough, I'm getting my LTC" (he looked about 20), I told him your personal protection is up to you and not law enforcement. He makes me hopeful for the new generation.
I'm still not OC in any major store, I just pull my T-Shirt out to cover my Sig.

Their sign is not worthless. It just doesn't apply to license holders.
it says it does apply to license holders, and it is wrong for non license holders since it says something is a felony that isn't. Therefore, it's worthless.

So, how much money and time do you suppose it'll take for his lawyer to convince the police and County Judge that the sign is worthless? Having said that, y'all do what you want. I do not care!

Ahhh....yes, the proverbial "ride"...with the "DA with an attitude" empaneling a Grand Jury to indict you for a non-existent crime. Well, you could get elected governor, then get indicted for vetoing a bill...it happens.

My reaction to non-compliant signs to remain at home in the fetal position on my bed for fear of the crusading DA and county court judge...

I saw one yesterday in the Jacksonville Walmart!

I nearly fell off my wait, watch, look and see bench.

My plan is to keep doing what I have been, no need to kick anthills. I don't think I would get arrested over it no matter what I did, of the people who work in there I have coached half of their kids in baseball, and the other halves kids are friends with my son. The sign doesn't apply to me so I don't worry about it, just thought it was funny that somewhere up the corporate ladder they actually believe that. Once I get in my new holster on Wed there is a chance someone might actually notice I am carrying, as is with the LCP unless I have reason to pull it no one will ever be the wiser.

Finally saw one today in Beaumont, guy coming out of Saltgrass took off his sport coat and had a 1911 in a pancake OWB, pretty sure it was covered while he was inside but he was taking his coat off to get in the truck. Only thought I really had was wondering what brand the 1911 was.

I was OC'ing today while running errands, while I was at a mower shop in riveroaks had a guy walk up and tell me I was the first person he has seen OC, he asked me if anybody has reacted to it, I told him nobody seems to notice or care, I asked him if he had his LTC, he said he did but he has only CC because he wasn't sure how people, would react.

I've had a few guys come through my work OC. Other customers didn't seem to care as no complaints were made. All 3 were younger guys, late 20s early 30s.
