Wife will have surgery Monday to fix a bladder issue that showed up in December. She was I in the hospital last Friday and Saturday cause Aleve cause her stomach to bleed. :txflag:

The Surgery was successful and she is back on her feet. Thanks for the Prayers, she been through a lot the last 9 months.

More bad news she got bladder cancer they think they got it all but all but she will be taking cancer treatments for a month.

Sorry to hear about that setback. We will keep praying for her to be completely healed and both of you to have the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit

Sorry to hear about the setback. I have/had bladder cancer.

As her caregiver, I suggest you or your wife join BCAN (Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network). Lots of great info and support there, just like there is here, in their forums and their info links. The site also offers lots of educational material and references. My urology/oncologist strongly recommended them, and it was the best thing I ever did. Being informed allowed me, in coordination with my doctor to make intelligent decisions. Of course you have to consider that all sorts of advice and info are offered in the forums there. Some great, some not so great, but all in all a very helpful site/organization. Just remember that all of the folks there either have, or had bladder cancer, or are caregivers to those that did or do. Just filter any advice with common sense. Be strong, be informed, and be an advocate, and make sure your wife's doctor keeps you both fully informed. My prayers for your wife.

Thanks we got several nurses in our personal network that are taking care of us.Prayers are what we need the most.

We got more bad news , they found more cancer at her 6 month check up yesterday. Her iron was so low they admitted her to the hospital and kept her overnight to give her 2 pints of Blood. We will start Chemotherapy and radiation treatments within the next 6-10 days.
