While Starwood Cafe has good food, it seems to be very busy in the morning for a small location. As a result, we feel rushed when there are people waiting for a table while we are talking after eating. We finished after an hour and decided to free up our table for them. The 4 of us must have stood outside for an aditional 2 hours just talking. After chatting with strogg, surprise_im_armed, and SkullCop, we decided to consider Rudy's BBQ up the tollway a bit.
9828 Dallas Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034
Skullcop and I checked it out and the size is roughly the same as the Arlington location. I know the Houston gang meets at a Rudy's as well. I think we may as well continue the forum tradition and move our venue there. Any thoughts?

Yes, are changing the venue to Rudy's in Frisco. We will continue to meet the
2nd Saturday of each month at 800 AM. Open carry if you wish.
Today's Frisco members at the breakfast totaled 4 of us: flightmare, skullcop, strogg, and myself.
We were inside from 800-930 AM, then continued fixing the problems of the world outside in
the parking lot until 1125 AM!!
The other North Texas meetup is in Arlington, Texas, and that one is the THIRD Saturday
each month, also at 800 AM. Open carry is fine there as well.
When I've attended the Arlington meetup at their Rudy's, there is so much seating,
and so few other (non-CHL Forum people) people, that we can occupy lots of seating
for the multi-hour gab sessions without inconveniencing other customers.
Come on, come all. We all have unique life experiences/knowledge, and it's so much
faster to conversate (like that?) in person, rather than the board.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this month. I'll be on a business trip to Commiefornia. I'll be sure to make it next month, though.

Love to make it and off but just too far from me guessing close to 1 -1/2 hrs each way I wish they would meet at the Bass pro area or close to it.

FYI, next breakfast is this coming up saturday 1/13/18 at Rudy's in Frisco. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces (and hopefully some new ones) in the new year!
