Before moving to Texas in 2000 I was charter boat captain in Kona, Hawaii for 12 years. My user name is the name of the boat I ran most of those twelve years, Tropical Sun.

RTHILLUSA - my initials & last name, duh, and USA 'cuz it sounded better than RTHILL#386, I guess. I picked it a long time ago, when all the IT jobs were going to India, including mine, and the USA was getting bashed around the world and all's I could think of was that if we don't do it who will, China? We are the last best hope (dang, that sounds familiar, who said that?). Its my little one finger salute to the rest of the world outside our borders I guess. Not much I suppose, but the best I can do at the moment.

My car is. Had it since high school, and this is the name I have used on car forums.

wcb is short for "wisecountybuck". That's the name I used on my first online hunting forum texasbowhunter.com. At the time I was hunting in Wise county. Most everyone would shorten it to wcb and when we had a server crash, and had to re-up, I decided to be"wcb"...
I use it everywhere. TBH, AR15, 68forums, LSBA, etc...
Glad to be amongst y'all.

FL450 short for Flight Level 450 or 45 thousand feet, where my office is located with a window view. I am a Corporate pilot for a small oil and gas company in Houston.
I love the sound smell of jet fuel in the morning.

Well, mine is pretty simple, I live in Lufkin, Tx, but it ACTUALLY started years ago when before my dad retired from Texas Foundries, they had a division in the foundry called 'luftex' which (I believe) was where all of the castings were finished, I liked it, so I started using it..

Mine's pretty easy. I'm an I.T. director (officially director of information security) for a large retail firm. I have a background in forensics and investigations. I'm also a major geek (techno and otherwise), so it seemed to fit. Plus Ape, my non-cyber nickname, was taken.
