Hello, first post on the forum. The CHL process has been like this for me so far:
06/29 Submitted application online
06/30 Class & Fingerprints, submitted LTC-100 online
07/02 email confirmation of documents received
07/10 Got update on the progress-checker dealie showing pending background check
07/11 Background check complete, print pending
This is the third state I've gotten a CHL in, and this process has been the fastest by far!
07/17/18 status changed to "mailed"
07/19/18 USPS Informed Delivery shows a letter from DPS in the mail

Welcome aboard, I'd be willing to guess that if yours goes at the same pace as everyone's recently has, you'll be mailed by the 27th or 28th. I would guess your print pending will hit by next monday or so. Best of luck man!

Figure I'll go ahead and post my timeline here as well.
Completed Online Application: 6/13/18
Took Class and Fingerprints : 7/7/18
Submitted Docs : 7/718
Docs Rec'd email : 7/9/18
Website Updated: 7/14/18 (Everything green except Background Under Review.)
Print Pending : 7/17/18
MAILED : 7/20/18 !!!
Hopefully I will have plastic in hand on Monday and can go do my Wally Walk

Howdy everyone! New to the website! So here's where I stand right now.
06/30/18: Pass LTC Class
06/30/18: Submitted LTC-100 and Supporting Documents
07/02/18: Fingerprints
07/02/18: Documents received email from DPS
07/11/18: Website checklist show all green except for background check and printing
Waiting on completion now. I had an arrest back in 2008 for Failure to Appear on an unpaid traffic ticket for expired registration and expired insurance. It's a Class C Misdemeanor but as expected I'm in the slow lane for LTC approval. Submitted my case dispositions along with my LTC application. Hopefully it'll be approved soon.

...and that letter was, in fact, my permit.
This isn't my first CCW permit, and my "wally walk" was almost 10 years ago. The real treat will be buying a gun without having to wait for NICS!

when something is still in review what is the symbol next to it? I have all green except one is yellow exclamation triangle. is that mean its all good and still in review or that something is wrong.

Got a letter in the mail from DPS stating they did not receive a copy of court case disposition. I sent them a copy of the disposition when I originally applied for my LTC. So it seems they lost that document. So aggravating. Just sent them another copy through their RSD website. Let's hope they don't loose this copy.

Submitted everything the 17th and am in the waiting time for background check updated today. Is my time normal/faster/slower? From what I've heard, there's a good bit of downtime involved

Well I’m new as well and I’m only chiming in because I’m on of the exceptions it appears, not the rule, got email confirmation back on 5/30 that all docs were in and application process had begun, right away all was green except fingerprints and background were yellow and as of today 7/24, they still are so I’m 55 calendar days in and 39 business days in with no change, I’ve already asked if I missed something and they said no I’m just still under review and they hadn’t really gotten around to giving me a look as of yet so I’ll just wait, I am a little jealous of the people on here who got theirs in less than two weeks and some even faster but I’m not frustrated, I will just be patient and wait it out, like I have a choice, lol, good luck to everyone filing.

That makes me feel better.. I wasn't sure if the yellow was good bad or what. Also it seems as though I am on the slow track my self but I have lived in multiple states over the last 5 years. So I'm sure that complicates things.

I have been checking my status everyday without any status update. Yesterday I checked and everything was green with pending print in yellow. How long should it be before I receive it in the mail?
July 10th submitted application
July 11th fingerprints done
July 14th class complete
July 18th documents sent
July 20th email saying documents received
July 26th everything green and pending print
