Based on what so many have said about how the SCOTUS interprets the 4A, and how this SHOULD apply to a person who is OCing, and as it has been explained to me, there does not seem to be a need for this amendment that prevents a cop from stopping you simply because they are OCing.

Would it be so hard for someone to say "This isn't needed because according to the 4A an officer cannot legally do this without PC anyway"? or would that pretty much kill the whole thing based on that fact, and everyone else knows it and is just keeping quiet?

By the way, I now see why the Dutton had to be pulled to get it past Huffman in the SA Committee.

That was brought up in the committee report, I think.
