The next "3rd Saturday" North Texas LTC breakfast will be this coming Saturday......11/20/21.

It will still be in Arlington, but as of the 10/16/21 breakfast, we decided to try a new place.

The new venue will be Golden Corral, 465 East I-20, Collin Street exit, Arlington. It is just 2 doors down from the Rudy's where we have been meeting.

Reason: Golden Corral will have a larger assortment of food and beverage items. Rudy's was OK, but getting a little stale selection-wise.

The North Texas breakfasts have always been scheduled to start at 0800, but some friends arrive well before that.
You won't be able to do this at Golden Corral. Their doors OPEN at 0800.

This next Saturday is our test run at Golden Corral. It is expected that they will have plenty of room for us, and that we can visit with one another for many hours. If it works out, we will stay with GC. If it doesn't work out, we can always resume breakfast at Rudy's.

My signature line now reflects this change in venue.

Come one, come all. We all have plenty of stories.

We met for the "3rd Saturday" breakfast on 11/20/21, at Golden Corral.

We had plenty of room, and occupied our table for hours, gabbing.

So, the Arlington breakfast venue will be Golden Corral, until further notice.
We don't expect that we will have to change it.

The "3rd Saturday" LTC Arlington breakfasts are now convening at the Golden Corral, which is 2 doors away from Rudy's, where we used to meet.

GC's selection is much better, we can linger as long as we wish, OC is OK, and if you stay long enough, you can eat lunch too! They honor military ID's, which will save you a bit.

At a minimum, tomorrow's attendees should be Mr. & Mrs. blackhorse1, SIA, and SIA's S.O. We hope to see you there!

Right now, there's a 50/50 chance I'll make it pending plans yet unknown to me of Mrs. Dub's.

Me and my wife are planning on attending!

I don’t know when I will be able to make breakfast again. My work’s on call schedule has been severely disrupted with multiple people leaving the company. Instead of being on call about every six weeks now it’s every two and a half weeks.
Hopefully late summer will bring some normalcy back as we have 3 new guys in training.

Site : Golden Corral, 465 East I-20, Arlington. Doors open at 0800. Open carry is fine.

It's also Paul McCartney's birthday, but he probably won't be there with us.
