JFK fought Marxism. Comrade Osama - I mean Obama - is a Marxist. JFK fought terrorism. Comrade Osama - I mean Obama - is a friend to terrorists.
And I guess all of his WHITE peers at Harvard elected him President of the Harvard Law review because they were all just dumb joe's that got duped.

The full quote, for anyone that cares:
To avoid being mistaken for a sellout,I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist Professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night,in the dorms,we discussed neocolonialism,Franz Fanon,Eurocentrism, and patriarchy. When we ground out our cigarettes in the hallway carpet or set our stereos so loud that the walls began to shake,we were resisting bourgeois society's stifling constraints. We weren't indifferent or careless or insecure. We were alienated.
When I read the book, I recall it talking about how he was rebelling. I'll see if I can find it and report back.

Well, I spit a big green lugi on every Obama car I see at the mall.

As much as I hate it, I took down my Prolife, voter, NoBoma bumper sticker.
A proud of Obama guy pulled up next to me (with my 2 kids) and yelled out the window at me while he pointed at his shirt. I leaned over and told him that I couldnt vote for someone that thinks it should be legal to murder babies.
With a puzzled look, he said that he was prolife. I then asked him why he was supporting someone that thinks its Ok to murder babies?
Again, another puzzled look (appears to be a trend with Obama supporters) with a reply of "I am also pro-choice".
I yelled out the window "either you think it is OK to take a steel rod and shove it into a babies head and suck her brains out OR you think its not OK. You cant have it both ways.
Another puzzled look with a reply of "Well, I am pro-adoption", gave me a thumbs up sign and then turned left.
These people are the reason I carry 24/7.

If you think it makes sense not to discuss religion or politics with strangers (including many of those you do know) why do it's equivalent with a bumper sticker?

My dyed in the wool hard core leftist mother (and big Obama campaign contributor) is having some buyer's remorse now. She continues to justify her choice with a "well,
something had to be done. 8 years under Bush was intolerable." I had to remind her that Bush wasn't running - partly because the Constitution forbids him to do so. Hillary Clinton is Constitutionally barred from serving as SecState by
Article 1, Section 6 of the U.S. Constitution, which says:
No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time.
As my link points out:
The text of the provision is an absolute prohibition and does not allow for any exceptions. However, as noted in the motion, "the 'compensation and other emoluments' of the office of the U.S. Secretary of State increased during Mrs. Clinton's tenure in the U.S. Senate, including as many as three times during the second, six-year term to which she was elected.
...and yet, there she is,
still occupying the office of the Secretary of State, and acting as if the Constitution was more of a set of guidelines than actual law (if I may quote Captain Barbosa). That is how the Obaministration views the Constitution. I would not be the least surprised if, God forbid he should gain and complete a second term, he would say, "well, Amendment 22 is more of a guidelines than actual law; so I'll be helpin' meself to a third term, thankyou very much."

It is my humble opinion everything after the "with my 2 kids" section should not have happened, because you should have completely ignored the person who decided he was going to start yelling at you while your kids are in the car.
Yelling back is not deescalating the situation.
wasn't there a thread, just a minute ago, about two guys yelling at each other and then shooting....
Hrm...

Yea, I was as confused as you were when he said "proadoption" to me and then drove off. I am guessing that I presented him with information he was not aware of or my great debate tactics were too overwhelming
In retrospect, I should have done what one of the posters suggested, which was to simply ignore him, but at the same time, how do you change minds? My hope was that he would go home and the comments would serve as a stone in his shoe. He would investigage what I was saying to "prove me wrong" and then changed his mind. To steer this back to guns, if someone is anti-gun, how do you go about changing their mind? You can say that its their tough luck, but in the US, everyone gets a vote. The "only" way to get them on your side is to educate them. the only way to educate them is to talk to them....
