I carry Federal Premium LE Tactical HST in 9mm. I'm guessing it works, if I had a ballistics gel dummy I'd love to find out for sure, but in the meantime it's what I have. LEOs have stricter safety constraints than we do, so I'm only making the assumption that these bullets help bridge that gap between safety and effectiveness albeit still to a very lethal point.

When someone finds the perfect concealed carry weapon and ammo, could they please send mer an email.
Practice ammo should be cheap. and available.
Should have a perfect grip and point.
Should be instant kill and stop when a bullet hits COM
Should be a tiny so easy conceaL
gun should allow cartridge to develop the full power to the bullet.
should have a long sight radius.
Should have minimal kick to allow fast recovery.
Should have large ammo capacity.
should be safe to carry.
A 3lb or less trigger,
Should be cheap.
Should be point and shoot.
Should fit well in my huge hands but in family members small hands.
Should be simple to train and shoot with.

Every gun Choice Every Ammo choice is an engineering trade off.

Springfield XD-40 4" with DoubleTap 135gr Nosler JHP (1375fps / 567 ft/lbs.) They've got bark and bite!! ;-)

JHPs of different brands and calibers depending on CW of choice for any given day. I lean towards Speer Gold Dots every chance i get tho. ;-)
